- Test Thermostat for proper operation, calibrate, and level
- Clean existing Air Filter (as needed) or replace with 1” filter
- Confirm proper return air and size
- Test and flush condensate drain line
- Inspect Evap coil if accessible
- Inspect heat exchanger for cracks or damage
- Inspect blower wheel
- Measure Blower Motor amperage and voltage
- Check for safety issues: Monitor carbon monoxide, etc.
- Check gas psi and burner for proper combustion
- Inspect Safety Devices for proper operation
- Clean and adjust the pilot light assembly and electrodes
- Inspect Flue vent piping connection
- Inspect proper combustion air supply
- Inspect Ductwork Visually for energy loss
- Inspect for exposed wiring and tighten electrical connections
- Inspect Electrical Disconnect Box for proper rating and safe installation
- Inspect Condenser Coil and remove debris
- Inspect Service valves for proper operation
- Inspect all Fittings for signs of oil and/or leakage
- Check lines and fittings with Freon leak detectors (as needed)
- Test and inspect Contactors for burned, pitted contacts
- Inspect and test Capacitors and fan blades
- Monitor operating pressures of refrigerant
- Monitor Compressor amp draw, volts, Megohmmeter resistance
- Measure Supply/Return temperature differential
- Check Home for proper airflow
